The Polish Early Buddhism Society (PEBS) is an organization whose mission is to support the practice of Dhamma based on Early Buddhist Texts by creating space for practice and access to teachings based on the oldest sources of Buddhism.
Our activities focus on two main goals:
• Supporting the establishment and development of Buddhist monasteries in Poland – for both monks and nuns – inspired by the spirit of Bodhinyana Monastery under the spiritual guidance of Ajahn Brahm. We want to create lasting foundations for monastic life in Poland.
• Building a living, lay community practicing early Buddhism through meetings, retreats, Dhamma talks, workshops, and other forms of joint practice. We care that spiritual teachings are present in daily life and support individual and community development.
One of our priorities is equality in access to spiritual practice – we strive to create equal conditions for women and men.
