Marcin Fabjański, PhD // The Apennine School of Living Philosophy

Marcin Fabjański, PhD is a philosopher with 25 years of academic teaching experience, workshop conducting and counselling. He studied Western Philosophy in Poznan (PL) and York (UK). He spent almost two years in Asia – India, China, Nepal, Thailand and Burma among others – where he meditated intensively and explored the philosophy of the East.

He authored the first philosophical practice handbook “Stoicyzm Uliczny” (“Street Stoicism”), six other books, documentaries, screenplays and feature stories. He writes columns and philosophical comics storylines for “Przekrój”. In 2014 he followed in the footsteps of a German philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte by travelling from Leipzig to Königsberg on foot.

In Trevi nel Lazio near Rome, he founded The Apennine School of Living Philosophy where he teaches philosophy as an art of living.
